Hey guys, My name is Mike and I have been a Hulkamaniac since the late 80's. My first memories of him was during the begining of the Mega-Powers( boy they were the good days). Anyways, it doesnt look like people post here much anymore. Hopefully some of you get around to do so. One question to everyone: Don't you hate it how Hogan get an incedibly bad reputation on the internet? Oh well, talk to you guys soon

Hogan has occasionaly said some things that I didn't care for, but I don't think that should obviate all of the good things he has done for the business...and by extension many of the people who trash him.

Yeah I post on Wrestle view.com, maybe you have heard of it, anyways they are a pro- Hart site. So if you aren't a technical wrestler they trash you. A few guys appreciate what Hogan is all about but most say he stinks and what not. Sure he hasn't been an angel, but who should and who has, so his positives outway his negatives

I am a big Bret Hart fan though...he made the World Wrestling Federation watchable after Hogan left.

I like Hart too. He had a great run after Hogan left. He wasn't able to capture the magic that Hogan was able to do, but nonetheless, a great few years for him.

Hart is great in the ring, but he lacks the magnetism and charisma to be a larger than life character like Hogan. I enjoy both of their different styles though. I need a break sometimes from the monotany.

Did you buy the Bret Hart DVD? If you haven't I suggest you do. Tons of great matches on there. It is defiantly worth the purchase

I didn't buy it, but I rented from Netflix. I liked it but there were matches that should have been on there. His match against Savage SNME '87 is a perfect example. Also, he had a good match against Sayama earier in his career.
My favorite Bret Hart match is probably WMXX. That is a kickass match that delivers. Bret owns.
Cool man.

I never saw that Savage match. I also thought his match against Roddy Piper from Wrestlemania 8 should have been on there too. Either that match or the match with Mr. Perfect at Summerslam 91 would have to be my favorite.

You've seen the KOR against Perfect, right? That was a sweet one. Still, I think his match against Owen was one of his best. Owen was a phenomenal performer. Maybe not quite as good as Bret, but he was definitely World Championship material in my opinion. I thought he was held back by the clique, but I guess that's just speculation.
The great match that we didn't get to see was Bret vs Hogan '93 with Hogan putting Bret over. I liked Yokozuna a lot, but let's be honest, Yoko was not the guy who was going to be carrying the ball when Hogan left to do his show.
