For you Hulkamaniacs who receive the WWE 24/7 service, here is what to look for this month featuring the Immortal One:
"The Big Ones": The Big Event card from Toronto's CNE Stadium 8/28/86 is featured. The Hulkster defends the World Wrestling Federation Championship against "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff in front of 64,000 fans.
"Specials": Look for broadcasts of Goldberg: Who's Next (a WCW home video from 1999 which Hollywood Hogan appears in) and the 2004 WWE home video production The Monday Night War. There is also a special featuring classic interviews from the AWA, of which Hulk may be a part of.
"Primetime": In the regular Monday Night War series, February 26, 1996 is featured. On that evening's edition of WCW Monday Nitro, Hulk teamed with "Macho Man" Randy Savage and The Booty Man (Brutus Beefcake) to face then-WCW Champion "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Kevin Sullivan. There will also be an edition focusing on March 11, 1996. That evening's Nitro saw Hulk, Savage and The Booty Man team up once again to face Flair, Arn and Sullivan in a rematch, this time a Lumberjack Strap battle.
Also in "Primetime", there is a special program dedicated to the 10th Anniversary of WCW Monday Nitro, hosted by Eric Bischoff. You can be sure the Hulkster will be appearing quite a bit on this show.
"Old School": Look for two classic cards featuring Hulk as the headliner. The first one comes from September 10, 1988 at the Boston Garden (look for an 11-year-old Sheldon Kane III in the crowd, readers). The Hulk took on "Million-Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase in the main event. This match features a rare appearance of Hogan's short-lived "War Bonnet" helmet. Also, a card from Madison Square Garden (April 22, 1986) is featured. In the main event, Hulk teams with Hillbilly Jim to face Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy.
