If you caught RAW this past Monday, you saw Shawn Michaels still whining about Hulk Hogan while on "Carlito's Cabana." WWE is trying to move HBK onto something else, but of course the "Crybaby Kid" can't let that happen. First he starts with "I've had enough ego for one month." The fans in Tampa knew exactly what he was talking about of course, and started a nice "Hogan!" chant. HBK responds by biting his lower lip and saying "Until he gets another payoff, he ain't coming back." For the rest of the interview, HBK was getting more boos than cheers.
Honestly, Shawn Michaels needs to let this go. I find it funny how he gets on the Montreal fans for not letting go of the screwjob, yet he continues to whine about the SummerSlam match. Shawn, you've screwed over enough people in this sport with backstage politicking. Now that it's been given right back to you (and don't forget, Vince agreed on the finish!), you can't handle it. You moan and complain about it to anyone who will listen (and even those who won't). You're in a program with Chris Masters now. The program with Hulk is over. LET IT GO.
I hope he realizes by cutting down Hulk Hogan in public, it only serves to make HBK look like a jealous wannabe in the eyes of the viewers.

I totally agree. I have alot of respect for HBK for the performer he is but I've lost quite a bit of that the last 2 weeks on RAW. It's really say & petty because he doesn't have to be doing this. There's been plenty of guys in the past that would probably love to come out & say similar things about wrestlers & matches they've had but they dont - they're professionals. Even though I didn't agree with it, I can understand that first RAW after SS but that's it. You said your piece, no move on & get over it! But no, he has to continue to run Hogan down when he's not even there to defend himself...and HBK knows that and gets a kick (pardon the pun) out of it.
But whatever. It just proves the point Hogan was making before SS even further - HBK might've "found himself" later in life but he's still battling some serious issues.

What makes me laugh even harder is how some of the smart marks are defending this guy to the end. They talk about how HBK "should be forgiven" for his past transgressions, yet for weeks now, he's been showing how truly immature and unprofessional he is. Honestly, do you see Hulk Hogan running around cutting down Shawn Michaels to the press? No, you do not. Hulk will give an opinion on how he feels HBK is still battling his demons, but he won't sit around making fun of him either. Why? Hulk Hogan is a PROFESSIONAL.
Did Hulk use backstage pull against HBK? Who knows? Even if he did, can you blame him? If he did use politics, he was probably weary of HBK's own political games and wanted to ensure that the same didn't happen to him. I laugh at how the smarks are crying over Hulk "politicking", yet their little HBK has done far worse to less deserving workers. Hypocritical and disturbing.

i'm not sure how much of this is real. their new strategy to keep wrestling fans interested seems to be messing with the internet wrestling fans. it wouldn't surprise me at all if it's just something to screw with people.

Oh, this I know. I just can't understand why WWE would approve such remarks about a guy who isn't even there to defend himself.

For me it's interesting to see HBK complaining about this so much, when Triple H who won the 2002 Royal Rumble, was coming off an injury that sidelined him for months, headlined Wrestlemania X8 to win his first World Wrestling Federation Undisputed Championship, just to lose it to Hogan a month later at Backlash. Did he complain about it ? No.

some people can't help but hold a grudge. when the nwo made fun of arn anderson people acted like it was such a big deal. some of them are still not over it to this day. but when hbk makes fun of hogan...no big deal.

Please try to keep in mind that the business in a work. At least 99% of what you see on TV is a complete work, and many times the guy getting insulted came up with the insult. Not to mention that the best time to get yourself over with cheap insults (especially as a heel) is when the other guy isn't there to defend himself. Would you call Vader fat or Maeda ugly if either was right there to stiff the crap out of you? Obviously not. Getting the crap kicked out of you for a petty insult is going to kill your heat, not generate it.

Oh, of course, I never lose sight of the fact that the business is worked. I just wonder why WWE would sign off on some of the things HBK has said. Wouldn't that in some way be damaging to Hulk, considering the very real nature of his remarks?

Even if it is "damaging" to Hulk it doesn't matter. The only reason he stopped by was to promote his reality show, and if you have to choose between a full time wrestler and someone who only came to use your TV to promote something to your audience, there is no choice. Beyond that, the internal feeling in the WWE is that their audience isn't smart enough to remember what happened in the past. For example, on Raw awhile ago they said Triple H never beat Benoit. Which leads me to believe I hallucinated Benoit's first WWE match. WWE management will assume that fans will completely forget everything HBK said by the next time Hogan stops in, and he'll still get the nostalgia pop. Which he will.
And even if it is "damaging" does it even matter at this point? He's HULK HOGAN. He could do jobs on Velocity for the next 10 years and it wouldn't damage his legacy in the least. No one can take away what he has accomplished in the business.

Hogan needed to go over in this match. First of all, he is a bigger legend then Michaels. And second, this might have been his last match, and he probably didn't feel like putting a profiled wrestlers such as Shawn Michaels over in his last ever match.
Shawn Michaels might moan about this now, but during the match, he did what was required of him, and thats the most important thing IMO.
Btw, I didn't get to watch all the HBK promos, and I've heard talks about HBK making it personal by trashing Hogan personally in some promos, what exactly did he say, that might have pissed Hogan off?

Yeah I was at The Tampa RAW Show. I just think it's HBK Shawn Michaels way of getting back at Hulk Hogan for not letting HBK win their match. Plus it could mean that their could be another rematch sometime. It also could just be a way of The WWE working The fans over you never know. I was kinda pissed of that night to I was really hoping that Hulk Hogan would show up since Tampa is where he grew up and he lives in ClearWater which is like only 20 to 30 minutes away.

i think shawn should quit worrying about losing a match and do something about all of the hair he's losing. i watched wrestlemania 21 again the other day, and i didn't realize how thin he's gotten. maybe he'll pull a val venis?
