I like both of these so much it's hard to choose. Both had great storylines, but I think I liked the promos leading up to Wrestlemania V a bit more. I just watched that match & the promos leading up to it and it is golden.
As for the match itself, that's a tough one, too. I think Hogan probably used a few more wrestling holds in the match against Savage, but he was practically working with a broom vs Warrior. I guess I give the edge to the Wrestlemania VI match against Warrior because he did such a tremendous job making him look good -- and later on we'd find out that that was no easy feat.
I'm choosing WMVI by a very slight edge. What's your choice?

This is probably his two best matches ever. I love both of them for different reasons. I have to go with Warrior vs. Hogan. Because if I had to chose to watch one more match of Hogan's I would chose that one.
They really put on a show. It was defiantly the biggest match of all time, besides Hogan and Andre. Great atmosphere and a tremendous ending.
The hug at the end was great, but it kind of did more for Hogan. It made him look like a great champion and it truly made him Immortal right there.
Oh man, but i love his match with Savage too! His promo before the match was great! It was such a long promo and everytime I watch it I feel so pumped for the match. He gave us the whole history of the feud and explained the jealousy of Hulkamnia and Elizabeth.
By the way, does anyone have that promo? Or any Hogan promos?

You referring to the Trump Towers and the foundation? Man, I love that promo. Hogan was huge back then! I think the promo is on the WM5 disc of the anthology. I have that match on my cpu which I downloaded online. |

That is the best part of the promo! When he talks about The Trump Towers crumbling when the Mega-Powers Explode and only Hulkamania surving the explosion. Classic stuff!

I also like a lot of the promos he cut on Mr. Wonderful and Piper. He was still pretty green in the ring at that time, but those promos were incredible. |
