For those who are interested, I have the entire run of Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling on DVD. But this is not just any DVD set. Oh no no no. The entire series is complete, and when I say complete, I mean complete. All 38 episodes are unedited, captured during the original broadcast. And by unedited I don't just mean the episodes, you know I'm talking about all of the live action segments.
The set was put together by TransformersCDs, and the dude there sells it for $45 after a thrifty $10 shipping fee. Since that's a little hard on the wallet when you're buying vitamins, I'll tell ya what daddy. Pay that shipping fee dude, and I'll give you the series for free brother. And whatcha gonna do, when Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling, and all of the live action segments, runs wild on YOU?

That's a very generous offer. How would you rate the overall quality? I assume we're talking VHS dubs?
I keep holding out hope that we'll get an official release down the road at some point but it's hard to gauge these things sometimes.

Obviously they were converted from VHS. I wish laserdisc recorders existed in the 80s, but they didn't. How I miss laserdiscs. I remember hearing that the home videos released awhile ago didn't sell well, so I doubt a commercial box set is going to come out anytime soon. If I owned a huge tape library I would do what Watts' ex-wife does - sells copies of every single tape in it. Since WWE has already made the initial investment to sell DVDs, it really wouldn't cost that much to sell every tape they own on DVD.
The VQ varies episode to episode. I rate things a lot harder than most people do, so I'll go with TransformersCDs' rating of 6.5-10. Not every episode is the same, for obvious reasons. Since watching bad tapes for years has screwed up my eyes I'm picky about VQ. I find these perfectly acceptable, especially considering how hard it would be track down each episode from tape traders individually. If a better set existed, I would own it.
For future reference, I also have a lot of other great stuff, like Saturday Supercade, Challenge of the Gobots, Transformers, Ultraman (OK, that's not a cartoon) and so much more.

That's an excellent offer, one I am very receptive to. Shoot me a personal message containing all the details. I taped some episodes when I was a kid, and I of course own the WWE-released VHS videos of the series from 1999, but I have never had the original series in its entirety.
Let me know the details in the personal message. Let's talk. I'm liking this.

Seems like a good offer. At home I have a 13 episode set of Hogan's Rock and Wrestling on DVD but some of the episodes were messed up during the tape to DVD transfer process .
